Cuttlebone Druidic Triskele
The high-resolution image may take some time to download--please bear with me.

Cuttlebone casting is one of my favorite techniques, though it can be rather frustatingly erratic. It is very alchemical, as the carven mold produces much fire and smoke as I pour the molten silver into it.
As the technique combines Earth, Water, Fire and Air, if I don't yell at the metal as it flows to add quintessence, you can be sure it won't come out right at all!

This piece is a very heavy rendition of the badge of Druidic office. It is the symbol of the cycle of seasons as depicted by the Three-fold Goddess.
